AutoSSL First
AutoSSL is the primary product direction. Its Single-Domain Certificate is different from a Standard SSL single-domain certificate: it covers the root domain and www by default, and additional domains can be added when the certificate product allows it. In practice, it can simplify the standard Single-Domain plus Multi-Domain workflow for many customers.
Recommended Path
New customers should start with AutoSSL. Standard SSL certificate products remain available for specific CAs, IP SSL, manual issuance, or compatibility workflows.
